Summer Explorer Kit - Little Farmers in the City

You may not realize it, but your food has been on quite the journey before it landed on your plate. This week, we’ll pack your box full of fun ways to learn about your food. Join us each morning for a special story time, song, or game before we go off exploring what’s behind the saying, “You are what you eat!”

Become a summer explorer today with pre-assembled kits from the Greensboro Children's Museum. Following our summer camp themes, each week a new fun, educational, and hands-on kit is available with all the materials and instructions you need for a week of activities. With easy-to-follow instructions and engaging videos, you’ll be set for hours of creative learning during your camp week.

This week’s kit includes:
  •  Materials and instructions for themed hands-on activities with recommended 5-day activity schedule
  •  A book to keep
  •  Access to online community with fellow campers with an optional daily live video session

Please note: Live video sessions and online community is not a required component of this kit. Participation is completely optional.

We do have a limited number of iPads available for rent. If you would like to rent an iPad, please complete the form in your confirmation email and a staff member will contact you. iPad rentals are available at no additional cost; however, we do require a credit card be kept on file in the event of loss or damage.
