description: Join GCM's FIRST LEGO League Jr. team to take part in the Boomtown Build Challenge! In this 10-week program, participants will explore the growing needs and challenges of the people in our community. Teams will use their imaginations and LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 to design and create a building that solves a problem and makes life easier, happier, or more connected for the people that use it.
FIRST LEGO League Jr. is an international program that expands the world of STEM for kids through LEGO products and robotics. In this program, teams will work through both the FIRST LEGO League Jr. curriculum as well as our additional coding and robotics curriculum over a 10 class, weekly program. The series culminates with each team taking part in a local expo with other teams in and around Greensboro on Saturday, March 21.

class fee: gcm members $124, nonmembers $145 Class fee includes 10 sessions, supplies, and admission to the Museum for the participant and one adult on the day of class.
drop-off: Yes. Adults (at least 18 years of age) who are designated by the parent or guardian at the time of registration may pick up the students from GCM at the end of each class.
