description: Have you ever tasted a persimmon? They are orange, delicious, and they grow on the trees in The Edible Schoolyard, the Museum's half-acre garden. In this hands-on kids cooking class, ages 6-8 will harvest persimmons to make delicious hand pies that they'll enjoy with their new friends at the end of class.
